Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-04-20. Sample template — replace before launch with advice from a UK-qualified lawyer.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms apply between you (the subscriber, “you”) and ClassMaster (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to be bound by them.

2. The service

ClassMaster is a software-as-a-service admin tool for club operators. We provide you with a dashboard, a roster, class management, attendance tracking, messaging and monthly reconciliation tools. We do not process payments between you and your students' parents.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you or your parents enter.
  • You may not share the account with unrelated clubs.

4. Fees and trial

New accounts start on a 14-day free trial. After the trial you'll be billed monthly at the then-current published rate (currently £29/mo). You can cancel at any time — we don't pro-rate partial months but you keep access until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't use the service to store data you don't have the right to store.
  • Don't attempt to circumvent security controls, scrape other clubs' data, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
  • If you find a security issue, please report it via the bug report form.

6. Data & privacy

We process your Club's personal data under a data-processing arrangement. Full details are in our privacy policy.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we don't currently offer a formal uptime SLA. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are more than 30 days in arrears, or are being used to harm other users. You can close your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll email you if we make a material change to these terms. Continued use after the change takes effect counts as acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
